Cover Reveal from HP Davenport!!!

Goodness this cover is just gorgeous!!  I'm looking forward to the story, as well, of course!!  ; )

With her past firmly behind her where it belongs, Juliette has made a career out of turning her scars into art. She uses her skills to help others cover the evidence of their pain, too.
But some scars are too deep, too painful for anyone to hide completely.
Juliette has everything she could ever need--great parents, her dream job, the best friend a girl could ask for, and a new body to warm her bed whenever she wants. With her focus firmly on the here and now, she never expects a kiss from a stranger to throw a bomb in the middle of her carefully constructed life.
Every wound leaves a scar.
Every scar tells a story.
Her story left her beautifully scarred.

SPOTLIGHT - The Celebrity Series by J Sterling

Have y'all read this series?
I read Seeing Stars in paperback before I had Kindle.
I fell HARD for the story - it's quick & sweet & has a super fabulous twist that made me go "OHHHH!  Brilliant!!"
Breaking Stars gave me that same feeling.

Losing Stars recently came out, and Jenn sent out an email explaining why it took so long between Breaking Stars for this one to come out.  The story behind the story was so very touching, I'm telling you!  But, it also made me a little apprehensive to read Quinn & Ryson's story, because it sounded like it was going to be WAY more emotionally heavy than the other two.  A big part of what makes them favorites is their lightness while still dealing w/ serious things.

So, I didn't read it right away like I thought I would.
I wanted to re-read the first two books before diving in, but I kept putting it off because I wasn't ready for the emotions... And then a couple weeks ago Jenn took over one of my favorite Instagram pages & I felt like NOW IS THE TIME for the re-read & to dive into Losing stars.

So I did.

Y'all!!

IT
WAS
WONDERFUL!!!

Getting back into that world & doing my reread of Seeing Stars & Breaking Stars was lovely.  And diving right into Quinn & Ryson after having spent time w/ them again was the perfect way to read Losing Stars.  The writing was on point, the story is emotional & SO REWARDING!  I love the direction she took them in.

So, if you're looking for something to dive into, to immerse in & enjoy a LOT, I highly recommend these three books.  *all the hearts*

Update - Review - Bad Alibi by Jessica Prince

Isn't that GORGEOUS!? I'm so looking forward to this - Y'all know I love the Hope Valley series, and this is a spin off of sorts. Cannon was introduced to us in the most recent one... :D
SYNOPSIS:
Having grown up trapped in a gilded cage, the events of one tragic night changed everything.
Farah Highland was raised with more money than most people could ever dream of, but with that wealth and privilege came cold indifference and cruelty. Determined to start living for herself, Farah cut ties with everything and everyone she’d ever known for the chance at starting over in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
Notorious town playboy, Cannon Banks grew up living the good life. He had it all, loving parents, good friends, and a face and body that drove women wild. Love and commitment were the last things on his mind . . . until he locked eyes with a woman across a crowded bar, and everything changed in a heartbeat.
There’s just one problem. Bad Alibi’s newest waitress wants nothing to do with him. But he’s nothing if not determined.
Cannon and Farah are about to enter into a battle of wills.
May the best man . . . or woman, win.

Pre-Order Today! Releasing January 13th!
It'll also be in KindleUnlimited

And now it's time for that review!
I SOOOO loved this story!  It lived up to my expectations & made me a happy reader!

This author has done it again - given us another town full of characters to fall in love with & I for one am extremely HAPPY!!!

Farah's reasons for moving to Redemption are heartbreaking, but the joy & family she finds there are so wonderfully written. She & Cannon have instant chemistry, but it's not an instant relationship. They have some bumps in the road to get through first. I love how those are written - part if it is a usual hard no for me, but the way that part's done in this case was completely believable & didn't give me the "ugh, no" feeling. So that was a plus!!

Once they get together, they're together & I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow! I also LOVE the family & friendships throughout the story. HUGE thumbs up & looking forward to the next story in the series!! : )

I can't recommend The Hope Valley series & now this spin off enough.
Grab them, read them, enjoy!!

Happy Release Day - Beauty and the Badge by Ella Fox

Y'all!
This is SUCH a great read!!!
It's got humor & heat, wit, great characters, a really fun storyline & even some suspense!
Highly recommend this one!

My Review:
I LOVE this story!!! Tyler & Ashley have an instant connection, but then get slightly derailed. The reason was well written & made sense, didn't give me the SOB-vibe, and didn't last forever. This is a fun & STEAMY read, full of supporting characters I'm looking forward to reading more about as the series continues. There's also a bit of suspense, just enough to add a dash of drama, and I highly enjoyed the pacing & hoyw everything played out. Big smiles!!! : )

Let me know if you pick it up & what you think!
I don't have an Amazon link (this is what happens when I'm all efficient & write my post early so y'all don't have to wait til I get home from work!  LOL) but you can get there from the Goodreads page!

Happy Release Day - Out of the Darkness by Jessica Prince

I loved this book!!
I love this series!
I am soooooo excited for y'all to read this latest installment!
If you haven't read this series (starting with Out of My League) I highly recommend it.
You can add it to Goodreads (& get to the purchase sites from there, too!!)

I love graphics that showcase all the covers together!
So pretty... : )

My Review:

Oh, Sage & Xander are AMAZING! There is so much heartwrenching emotion in this story, and I did NOT want to put it down. From the prologue to the very last page, the story flows so well! Sage has so much strength, determination, and joie de vive that it just leaps off the page. And Xander! My heart breaks for him, and I wanted to smack him a few times, and I love how he lets his heart shine through even when he's being a big ol' jerk.

This story has a good balance of humor & steam to go along w/ the above-mentioned emotion, and did nothing but add to my absolute love for this series! GREAT job to the author on creating somewhere I want to visit and people I want to know. : )

See?
It made me emotional!
Sometimes, as a series goes on, it can lose some of its luster for me.
I might not enjoy EVERY book in it.
This one, tho... Every story has been so enjoyable I just want everyone to read it!

New Release - Breaker by Harloe Rae

I LOVE Harloe Rae!!!
Still, I was a little apprehensive about starting this one, because I wasn't sure what to expect.  I wasn't sure I was going to love Grady the way I wanted to.
I needn't have worried - this story is amazing!!! : )

Review:

Oh, Grady & Sutton! Their story is full of sparks, wishes, and love. There's also a bit of that good ol' angst mixed in, and there's just a BIT of the story line that didn't work for me from a technical perspective.

Other than that slight bump, I adored this story! I love the heat & the sweetness, the banter & the way both Grady & Sutton are all in once they're IN. Supporting characters added to the story, but this is very firmly about our two main lovebirds, and it's an absolutely BEAUTIFULLY written story. Some lines are poetic. *swoon* AND! There are some nifty surprises along the way, as well.

And the EPILOGUES!!! *happy sigh*

BIG : )
