When You Least Expect It by Jessica Prince

 Excellent Story! 

I love all the small town goodness Jessica Prince gives us with the Hope Valley series - as well as the connected series taking place in other similar towns. The stories & connections just make me a very happy reader! 

I highly recommend ALL these stories!! : ) 

My Review:

Excellent story!! I didn't even know I needed Stella & West, but I so did! They were the perfect read for me after a busy week! 

I love their banter & the way West is literally the perfect guy to appreciate Stella & her family, their skills & history. He stands up for her from the very beginning. And Stella is a spitfire! She's hilarious & has a huge heart, loves her family & their close relationship was a joy to read.

Also we get to hang out with the AO guys & gals. That made me super happy! Sage & Stella's friendship is a hoot! 💙

Love the sweet, the steam, the action, the JOY in this story! Oh. And Rollie!

Always Someone's Monster by Lani Lynn Vale

 It's that time again! 

This is always an exciting time for me - I love LLV & am so blessed to get to read them early! 

My Review: 

So, WOW. I'm not even sure how to write this review, because my heart is all achey & stuff. Plus, everything that keeps running through my head feels like a spoiler to some of the storylines. 

I'll say there were a few bits here where I wasn't sure this would be a five star read for me. Haggard & Sophia spend a lot of the story not as a couple, but everyone knows they WANT to be a couple, so their hesitations annoyed me even as I got where they were coming from. However, even as they weren't "couple together" for that part, they were "page together" quite a bit, and I definitely ENJOYED their story & emotions & everything there. I love their characters & love how they are with each other!! 

But goodness, then there's all the spoilery stuff I just won't write about. WHEW! 

I'm definitely intrigued by the tease for the next book in the series, and I PRAY that the story the author talks about in her author's note at the end will happen, because my heart needs it. NEEDS IT!

Bear by Fiona Davenport

 

I love Fiona Davenport stories! Rochelle Paige & Elle Christensen are prolific authors with many works on their own, and then they collaborate to bring us Fiona books - quick, steamy reads that always include baby makin'! And the REASON they always include babies is a really neat story. 

(You should totally check it out, or ask me & I'll share - it's a tale of miracles & friendship & the hashtag #SayNoToCondoms ; ) - but also safety first, IRL, ppl! ; ) ) 

Anyway, this post is formatted a bit differently because of some technical issues, so please see my review below. I hope you'll grab this series - the Silver Saints are one of my favorite MCs!

The Girl in the Mist by Kristen Ashley

 

I was so fortunate to read this one a little early. 

Kristen Ashley's stories are always full of great dialogue & banter, excellent characters that give you all the feels, and zany happenings - this story has all of that plus the mystery/thriller aspect that gives off For You vibes. GREAT read! 

My Review:

Wow!!! This is a wild mystery. There are some classic KA bits, but at the same time it felt ... Different.

Bohannan & Delphine are older, strong, set... And perfect for each other. Their romance is mature & full. I loved it!

Also love their families, the dynamics. And the mystery... So well crafted! There are also discussion points at the end, which would make this a great book club read.
