A Wild Heart by Amie Knight

 Happy Weekend, my peeps!

I hope you're having a great one!

And I highly recommend this new release if you're looking for an emotional, sweet, HEA!

I LOVED this story!

My Review:

Holy wow, Weston & Emily!! Wow. Wow. Wow!

So, I was prepared for emotional with this story. Emily is a widow and a single mom. Weston is a widower. You will need tissues.

Every single tear is WORTH IT.

I love this story so, so much! I did want to Gibbs-smack Emily more than once... Also SUPER happy to have so much Holden & Miranda in the story - Miranda is one of my favorite characters ever, so to get to see her forming a friendship with Emily was fabulous! I also wanted to Gibbs-smack Holden a couple times, tho... 🤣

Then we have Parker. Emily's daughter is awesome & I love her part of the story!!

This is a story of healing & hope. Weston is grumpy, but his heart is OMH MAGNIFICENT! Emily is also grumpy. LOL Her wild heart gives the story its name, tho, and her strength and bravery when she follows that heart... beautiful.

Amazing read, and I highly recommend it!!

😍😍😍😍😍

Fractured Sky by Catherine Cowles

 This story is BEAUTIFUL!

It is healing.

It is cathartic.

It is the perfect ending to this series - and is a favorite of 2022!

My Review:

This is everything it should be! Everly and Shiloh became forever attached by their experience when they were young. This series begins with Everly & Hayes finding their HEA. It ends with Shiloh finding hers.

We get bits & pieces of Shiloh's story throughout each book, and we meet Ramsey later in the series.

In Fractured Sky, Shiloh and Ramsey are uniquely created to save each other, to be the perfect partners in life because of the tragedies in their childhoods. Ramsey keeps himself locked away on his ranch, allowing very few ppl into his space. We see him forced to open up a bit in Boden & Laiken's book, and I was hoping he would get his own HEA. Seeing him with Shiloh... I was so glad they were together!!

I love the way these two interact, the way they stand up for each other, their protective feelings & actions. And the horses!! The way they have patience to guide these abused animals to healing - and the parallels to their own healing - it's beautiful! Lots of emotion in this story!

I love Aiden & Elliott, Kai, Onyx, the family they build, the healing with Shiloh & her family... again, emotional and beautiful!!

Happy sigh.

(Also, there are some really well done suspense elements, and of course some heat!)

😍😍😍😍😍

Monster in the Moonlight by Jamie Schlosser

Jamie Schlosser is AMAZING!

She has a multitude of titles, ranging from New Adult to Rom-Com to Fae.

Her latest release is book 1 in a duet separate from but connected to her Fae series.

And it is AWESOME!

My Review:

Oh my goodness!! Ellister is definitely on the darker side. He's lived thousands of years without a soul, without a conscience, and that can definitely weigh on a Fae! A trick, a spell, brings back his conscience but not his soul. Still, from the second he comes into contact with Hannah... something begins to shift, and we see glimpses of his heart before...

This is a tough read bc of what Hannah is going thru. My heart broke! It will be mended... but not until the second part comes out! Thankfully, that's releasing fairly quickly! 😉

I loved the story, even with the 💔. These characters are rich, emotional gold!

Never Trust the Living by Lani Lynn Vale

This is the last book & the series & boy was it worth the wait!

Bram & Dory are sweet once they are together-together. ; )

My Review:

Ok. Bram & Dory have been the mysterious couple teased throughout the Battle Crows series. The way everyone treated her until Gracelynn in the last book made it seem like she was a raging jerk. As we found out, THEY were the AHs.

I love Dory & Bram, & am super happy they got their HEA - and that it included the Crows I've fallen in love with making amends. I love the relationships Dory & 2 of the brothers in particular build, too! I did NOT love all the crap thrown her / their way to get there, but she at least didn't have to go through what Gracelynn did, which was a relief. Somewhat. 😂 And it was a good dose of suspense there.

Anyway, excellent end cap to this series, and I'm happy the family came together and Bram got his head straight, to give Dory the love & family she deserved!!

😍😍😍

Have you given this series a try?

I didn't connect with all of the stories, but I did connect with this family & the saga as a whole. I love the Crow family's closeness and banter, and am happy that they all got their HEAs, even if some of them were quite the struggle.

Let me know your thoughts on the series if you've read it!
