The Red Zone by Amie Knight

by
Amie Knight

OMH!!
This story was soooo good, y'all! Amie's way of dragging you in is just so beautiful.
And I'm still in love with this cover. ; )

My Review:

Oh, Luk! His heart is SO BIG!!! And I just adored this story! He & Scarlett - his Red - have a super sweet (but heartachey) history & when they meet up again, he's ready to finish what he couldn't all those years ago.

This is also a single parent story, of sorts. Luk is thrust into a role he wasn't expecting to have to be in for years to come. His struggles are perfectly described, and he's aces at being a caregiver - even when he thinks he's failing miserably.

Wonderful cast, great pacing, beautiful writing - I LOVE THIS STORY!!! : ) (Also, dear author, could we get an Ollie story? And Mason? Thanks!)

This is available in Kindle Unlimited, as well!

Let me know if you pick this one up & what you think!

Falling For You by Jennifer Van Wyk

by

Fun, bantery goodness!

This author is aces at swoony, small-town romance.  I have absolutely fallen in love with every story I've read from her, including this one!
We met Rex & Chloe in Gone For You, which is a second chance romance starring Ethan & Olivia.

My Review:

Rex & Chloe are SO SWEET!!  This story will definitely get all up in your feels!  It's warm & heartfelt, fun & steamy, and contains a few surprises that will just melt your heart, too.

From the minute they meet, these two have an "in" with the banter.  They play well off each other, starting out with an unconventional friendship-that-includes-attraction.  I love the way they don't want to rush into a physical relationship, but still manage to have an intimate relationship.  They aren't about a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am.  They take the time to build a relationship that they know will last - even when surprises are thrown their way.

Absolutely thumbs up on this story & I highly recommend it for when you want to feel all the warm, bantery feels!  : )

Cheap Trick by Emily Goodwin

by
Emily Goodwin

Y'all, this story!!  I sort of went in blind.  I follow the author on Instagram, and love her stories on there!  She's very open about her writing process & life in general & I find her very refreshing & fun.  And altho I have a few of her books & they always have looked interesting to me, this was the first one I'd read.  It won't be the last, though, because I highly enjoyed it!!

My Review:

10+ stars!!! I loved Logan & Danielle SO MUCH!!! This story flowed really well - it's a slow burn, but so worth it. Their friendship is fun & the way they interact with each other & with Logan's family & Danielle's grandpa is so sweet. SO enjoyed the direction the story went & when they finally get together... H O T! There are some deeper things going on as well, and they were done respectfully & beautifully, leaving a happy feeling even through some tearful times.

Thumbs way up for this one!! : )

Also, this is in Kindle Unlimited if that's your thing (I love KU!).

Since her IG is really fun to follow, I'm including the links to Emily's social media pages in case you'd want to check them out, too!

Unattainable by Jamie Schlosser

Title: Unattainable
Romantic Comedy
Super cute
Highly recommended

My Review:

Squeee! This might be my favorite! Aiden & Corrie's story is SO FUN! And Aiden & Theo's brotherly banter is also hilarious & fun to read. I'm so happy they reconnected in Untrainable!

I love the sweetness to this couple, their friendship & just the way they interact with each other. I love that there is absolutely NO prevarication. There's no hiding from each other (I mean, once they make contact...LOL). They help heal each others' past hurts, and learn to trust, and the whole of them just made me smile. LOVE!!! : )

I love stories that make me feel happy & don't have any unnecessary angst, and this one exceeds expectations in those categories!  There's drama, but it's not heavy, and at the end of the story I just felt lighter & happier.  The whole series is like that!  If you haven't read books 1 & 2, you can absolutely read Unattainable as a standalone, but the first two books are witty, sweet, hilarious, fun reads as well, so I'll link below if you want to check them out!

Also, these are in Kindle Unlimited, which is pretty cool if you are a KU-er!

Book 1 - Untamable
Book 2 - Untrainable

Inspired by Jessica Florence

What inspires you?
Is it a person or place?
What gives you that feeling of being "you?"

For me, one of the ways I find inspiration is in reading.  In the words created for entertainment, joy, and, yes, inspiration.

This beautifully written story by Jessica Florence, aptly titled Inspired, is about a woman who has lost herself in the day to day, or so she thinks.
What she discovers, with the help of her life coach ...

Well, give it a read & find out!
Be INSPIRED!

My Review:
Mia & Logan's story is Jessica Florence's passion project, and it's very inspiring!

I love the pacing & healing that takes place w/ these characters. The family dynamics, the way they lean on each other but don't RELY on each other for healing, if that makes sense; it all comes together in a beautifully written story! The author shares some of her personal journey through Mia & Logan, as well as giving them some super HOT moments. ; ) Good read!! : )

Drop a line & tell me what you think!  : )

ALSO!
If you like super heroes, Jessica also has an AMAZING series about The Hero Society that you should most definitely check out.

Hope Valley by Jessica Prince - The Best of Me

The Hope Valley Series by Jessica Prince is just amazing!!
The latest, The Best of Me, joins books 1 & 2 on my favorites & re-read shelves.
I highly recommend these stories, especially if you're a fan of Brynne Asher or Kristen Ashley's Alphas!

Review:

This series just keeps getting better & better!!  LOVE Trick & Nona & their blended family!!

Trick takes a little time to get his head outta his butt, of course.  Once he does, tho, he is ALL IN and ALL ALPHA and it's a great sight to see!  I love that they both are very protective of each other & their kids, all 4 of them.  They blend their families together in a real and honest way.

I highly enjoy this author's writing style in this series.  The pacing, cadence, characters, story lines -  everything meshes perfectly together to keep the pages turning.  This has become one of my favorite series, & is a definite re-read!  Each book makes me look forward to the next story!!  : )

And if you haven't read books 1 & 2 yet, give them a gander at the links below.

And of course let me know what you think!!
