Quit Bein' Ugly by Lani Lynn Vale

 Happy new release!!

I'm so happy Croft & Carmichael's story is finally live!

I love this series - it's quirky & delicious!

My Review:

I love this series! It starts w/ Raleigh & Ezra, then Camryn & Flint, then Flint's sister, Carmichael & Raleigh's brother, Croft. I think I got all the relationships correct there. LOL Anyway, I love the family & friendship dynamics & each story has a bit of suspense to it, as well.

Croft & Carmichael have had a thing for each other for years, but when Croft finally asks her out, stuff happens that messes it up before it can begin. When he FINALLY comes up for air from the really big case that's taken over his life for six months, Croft realizes he messed up ROYALLY & sets his mind to apologizing to Carmichael & getting them back where they need to be.

And then he gets shot. And while that sucks, it does have the bonus side effect of opening Carmichael's eyes to how much time they've wasted. And then their relationship can truly get on track. They're super sweet & fun together, there's lots of banter & humor & I just adore them!!

I'm sad this series is over, but at the same time, I love how all LLV series are connected, so I'm looking forward to the Crossfit series next year!

Bombshell by Jessica Prince (Cover Reveal)

 EXCITED!!!

Seriously, this looks AWESOME!

SYNOPSIS:

𝗛𝗲’𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗱, 𝘀𝗲𝘅𝘆 𝗷𝗲𝗿𝗸 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸.

After ending the world’s worst relationship, Marin Grey had sworn off men. So it was rather inconvenient that she couldn’t seem to keep her eyes and thoughts off the Ice King himself, Pierce Walton—also known as her ex-boyfriend’s older, much hotter brother.

He was cold, callous, and rude. He was also the most gorgeous man she’d ever laid eyes on, which made the fact that he’d hated her from first sight all the more unfair.

When circumstances dictate they put their swords away so Marin can help Pierce take care of his son, that ice-cold hate suddenly takes a turn into something much hotter. And if they aren’t careful, they could both be burned alive.

The Fae King's Prize by Jamie Schlosser

I have loved Jamie's work since I picked up her first book, Trucker, in the Good Guys series. That series is full of contemporary romance goodness & the characters are mostly in the new adult age range.

And then, a little bit ago, she was inspired to start this series about the Fae.

And it is FABULOUS!!!

The Fae Kings are quite a bit older than new adults, but their heroines fall into that age group. And it works. It works so well, this is also one of my favorite series!

Also, the covers are STELLAR! ; )

My Review:

Zander may be my favorite King. He's been through the wringer. He's grumpy. He's arrogant when it comes to Maelyn being his mate, but he's also super vulnerable about it. He doesn't question her being his mate, but he also doesn't really EXPLAIN to her about being his mate, which causes some issues.

I adore the way they interact with each other. The way their thoughts are on the same wavelength, even though Maelyn doesn't quite understand everything going on. And I enjoyed the similarities she shares w/ the other Queens - as well as the differences.

There is definitely HEAT to the story, but overall this is a sweet, swoony, adventurous tale that kept me engaged and put a smile on my face! Looking forward to more - can we get some king's men stories???

I highly recommend all of Jamie's work! Give it a shot!

Jailbait by Lani Lynn Vale

Well, this one is quite the adventurous read!

My Review:

Whew! Trick & Swayze's story is a bit of a wild ride. As with all our Souls Chapel Revenants so far, Trick is sent to prison for something he shouldn't have been convicted of. He saved Swayze's life, and unfortunately paid a steep price for doing so.

Of course, he'd do it all again to keep her safe! Because even though at first when he gets out he tries to keep his distance, Fate - and Lynn, I suspect - know just what he needs. And that's Swayze!

I love these two together! They're spunky & steamy & fun, even while dealing with some really heavy issues. And we continue to get to see the whole club rally around the girls, bringing Swayze into the fold, and I just love the interactions of characters all around!
