Crossing the Line by Jessica Prince - Cover Reveal!

Isn't this GORGEOUS??

I love all the Hope Valley & Redemption covers, and this first installment of the Whitecap series looks to fit right in! So beautiful!

I'm looking forward to reading about Trent & Cheyanne!!

Synopsis:

𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙.

Trent Montgomery knew all about loyalty and responsibility. Tracking down his friend’s long-lost sister and making sure she was safe was just another job, a favor from someone he cared about. He wasn’t supposed to get attached. But when he started to fall for the woman who had been hiding from the world, things got a lot more complicated than he ever expected.

Cheyanne Knightly knew all about living in fear. The life she’d made for her and her daughter was as stable as a house of cards. One stiff breeze could send her whole world crumbling. But when a new guy blew into her small town, stirring up Whitecap’s rumor mill, she found herself drawn to him in a way she never expected.

Lies were told. Secrets were uncovered. Lines were crossed. When the truth finally came out, Trent had to find a way to protect the woman who stole his heart while he tried to earn her trust back.

**The Whitecap series is a brand new series of interconnected, standalone, small town romances.**

Loner by Jamie Schlosser

Guess what's now out in the world?

Jamie Schlosser's latest Good Guy - Loner!!!

I love Jamie & was pulled into this series the minute I discovered book 1, Trucker, randomly on Facebook (I think). The premise was so unique - a truck driving hero?! Sign me up!!! And then I learned her hubby was the cover model, and soon after I learned she (and the hubs!) were going to be at a signing in my neighborhood. You KNOW I was there! (BTW - she & Dallas are the sweetest couple. I love them both & adore their kiddos & if you don't follow Jamie on social, I highly suggest you go do that!)

Okay, anyway, the end of her Good Guys series is bittersweet.

Loner is an EXCELLENT story & a great way to end said series - I just don't want to see it end. LOL I love the whole dynamic & each story has brought so much joy!

So, if you haven't read this series, I highly recommend grabbing it. You don't have to start from the beginning - every story is a complete stand alone. If you'd like to start w/ Loner, well, here's my review!

My Review:

What a wild ride! Rosalie & Preston (formerly known as Ethan) have some REALLY tough things to go through before their HEA. However, despite being on the run, they ARE happy together. It's really charming the way they click, and I love their banter & personalities!

We get to see Jay, Casey, & Gus for a bit, which *heart eyes*! And of course there's a bit of steam to fog up your glasses/phone/computer screen. ;) There are also some very important messages woven in, and I hope they'll touch everyone as much as they did me. <3

I love this story & think - if the series HAS to end *sob* - this is an excellent final chapter.

New Boxset in a favorite series by Catherine Cowles

This series is FABULOUS & Catherine Cowles has put out the first three books in a box set! Hooray!!!

Have you read this series? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

My Reviews:

Reckless Memories

WOW! This story dragged me in from the beginning & I didn't want to put it down! Ford & Bell have a lot of pain to work through from the past, and that journey is captivating. While they have that important healing going on, Ford also has fences to mend with his family, and Bell has her own family issues to work through. Thankfully, they have an amazing support system to shore them up when needed. Because on top of THAT - someone is busy trying to scare/kill them. :0 What?!?

I know, it's an intense & beautiful story, I say! And the next couple in the series is very intriguing, as well! I'm looking forward to heading back to Anchor. : )

Perfect Wreckage

What a perfect title for a perfectly amazing story! Kenna & Crosby have a slightly antagonistic relationship in the beginning. She judges his "carefree" attitude as being way too frivolous, and he just really enjoys getting a reaction out of her! His shenanigans are quite often LOL funny!

Kenna's back story just broke my heart, so for her - and when she opens up to Crosby - TEARS! But, they're the cleansing kind, the empathetic kind. They're the kind of tears that make you stop for a moment & just say, "DANG! This is a GREAT story!" The emotions on every page are SPOT ON.

I love their banter. I love the friendships highlighted alongside their journey to an HEA. They also get to have some fun steamy times, because why not? *grin*

10+++ stars & I highly recommend this one! I can honestly say I highly recommend anything coming from this author. There hasn't been even a twinge of disappointment in anything I've read, and I'm looking forward to the next adventure. Griffin used his page-time wisely & there's a certain scene that seriously came out of nowhere & gave me a HUGE LOL moment!

Griffin & Caelyn are gonna be a trip!!

Wrecked Palace

Caelyn & Griffin's story is absolutely amazing!! I was hooked from page 1. We get to see what happened to cause Caelyn to have custody of her siblings, and it's intense!

I love the pacing of their love story. Griffin slowly coming out of his shell, Caelyn slowly letting their friendship blossom. The kids stealing EVERYONE'S hearts...! There is some serious swoon here, and it's not all because of our fabulous couple.

There's friendship, family, trust, suspense, romance - everything about this story is spot on & immensely enjoyable. Is it too soon to pick top reads for 2021? Because this is already on my list!

: )

And the COVERS!

I have to have them in paperback.

Gen Pop by Lani Lynn Vale

Yes Yes Yes, it IS another awesome release from LLV!!

Have you read this series yet?

It's a lot of fun & I LOVE all the guys & gals & their personalities! Plus the whole creation of a new family unit, really. I mean, a lot of these characters are old friends, if you're a longtime reader of this author. But you don't HAVE to be a longtime reader of this author to get the dynamics of the story & characters.

Anyway, here's my review:

Highly enjoyed Crockett & Zach's story! She has an abusive family, and he's the first to ever stand up for her (even though her Murphy does in his own way). I love the way they interact & how he encourages her dreams. I love the way she sees HIM and not the ex-con, not the doctor who made a morally debatable decision...

I just really love them together! I also enjoyed seeing the guys & their gals together a bit, as always - this group is a lot of FUN! And they all have a penchant for doing their steamy business w/ other ppl around, so ... LOL That's not normally something I like in my characters, but the fact that the whole group just kinda jokes about it is FUNNY.

Anyway, there's lots going on in the story, so give it a read! Read this whole series - it's fabulous & fun!

Fourth Down by Heidi McLaughlin

Fourth Down is a fantastic, fairly light but still impactful read!

My Review:

Julius & Autumn's story is complicated. There's the initial animosity - fully on Julius's part for reasons you'll just need to read to find out. Then there's the grudging respect. Attraction. Devotion. Mistakes are made, some milestones traversed too soon. Heartache.

But the overall story is full of hope, joy, friendships, healing, and of course love! I adore Julius's kids - Reggie & Roxy add a wonderful depth. The friendships between Julius & Noah and Autumn & Peyton brought a lot of enjoyment for me. I loved the peek into football & the weather! Yes, I said the weather! LOL

Highly recommend this story & the warmth it will leave in your heart!

I've read some of the other books in this world, and the emotions are always spot on. I love the way things come together for these families, and this new series is going to be highly enjoyable, I think!

Have you read Heidi?

Have you seen Forever My Girl, the movie based on the first book in the original series?

It's really well done & a favorite multi-watch!!
