Until Willow by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Happy New Release to one of my first indie authors!

Aurora Rose Reynolds

From the minute I saw the title Until November, I knew this was an author for me. I don't think I'd ever seen a character named my birth month before, but I thought it was THE COOLEST!

Into my Amazon cart it went - I read the story, and devoured it.

Needed the next book, and the next, and the next.

Anyway, I'll stop gushing - I have years of stories & love for this woman!

Not only for her words, the stories she's crafted, but just her as a person.

Now, onto this new release!

My Review:

Omh! Willow & Clay are fabulous! I love these two together. I love the way they meet - their relationship starts with a kiss before they even know each other's name! And not in a creepy way, duh. Lol

We get to see Nico & his protective dad mode, which is great! Clay's family dynamic is written so very well, I wanted to give hugs all around. And possibly a Gibbs smack or two... 😉

Willow is strong & stubborn, but melts -eventually- for Clay. Clay falls hard, and it's delicious. 💚💚💚

We get sweet, heat, suspense, and a pupper! A wonderful, favorite story has been added to this series!!

😍😍😍😍

Never For Him by Jessica Prince

 Happy Happy Release Day!

This is the final book in the Hope Valley series, but there are plenty more stories in connected towns to come from Jessica Prince. And I'm pretty sure I'll love all of them! ; )

My love for Hope Valley began with book 1, Out of My League. I devoured that story & it's still one of my favorite books to re-read! I highly recommend the entire series.

My Review

Hunter & Serenity!! Oh, it makes my heart happy they both get HEAs, and TOGETHER! Swoon!!

Their story starts with a crush, goes into a friendship, and of course works its way into more. I love the suspense, and family and friendship building. Serenity comes into her own with the town, becoming a true part of the community. And I adore the scenes with her & Stella, seeing their bond!

And of course we have the 🔥🔥🔥! Serenity is confident and full of sunshine. Hunter is grumpy, sure, but he's also generous and sweet And pretty dominant in the bedroom! Whew!

An excellent read featuring the last single hottie of AO getting his happy. Love it lots!!

Effortless by Jennifer Van Wyk

Jen is AMAZING at small-town HEAs & I love love love her stories!

Also, as I've mentioned before, she's an Iowa gal & that makes her even cooler! ; )

My Review:

Cash & Hadley's story is an effortless read! It's heartwarming and well paced, spicier than this author's previous works, and full of LOL and big grin moments. There are a couple of things that may require tissues, but not in a bad way!

Hadley has some family issues, but I enjoyed how they (mostly) worked out. And the co-parenting relationship in the story is *chef's kiss* done so well! Then there's the Lake family, full of swoony deliciousness that I'm looking forward to continuing in future stories!!

And... Kevin! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Excellent read!!

😍😍😍😍

Have you read any of Jen's stories? They're all fabulous reads (obviously, if she's one of my favorite authors! *grin*)!!

Good Trouble by Lani Lynn Vale

We are back in Florida for more Gator Bait MC shenanigans!

I really love the covers for this series!

My Review:

I enjoyed Luce & Bain, even though their story - or the timeline of their story, maybe - felt a little bit off at times. And the blurb isn't exactly accurate, which always throws me off as I'm reading.

Despite those things, I loved both characters and the relationship they had. And how the club is involved in helping with their drama! It always makes me smile seeing the way the guys are with their brothers' women. 😁

😍😍😍

Braxten by KC Lynn

I adore KC Lynn! And the Creed Brothers are at the top of my list of favorites from her. They are intense!

My Review:

Oh goodness, this book is worth the wait! Have been highly anticipating more Creed since finishing Justice & Ryanne's story!

Braxten & Alice's story takes place not long after Justice, and is quite the emotional ride. My heart aches for the pain they have had to endure, but soars with the love they've found in each other! And in the relationship Alice forges with Knox. They have their own hard-fought bond, which I loved to see develop.

Their story has heartache and steam, laughter and love, family and suspense. All around a well-plotted, amazing read!!

😍😍😍

Amazon CA https://amzn.to/3XJTL5t

Amazon UK https://amzn.to/3OJZXXf

I would say this is technically a stand alone story - it is obviously about a different couple than Justice. However, I think this particular series will pack the most punch if you read them in order, so I highly recommend reading Justice first. ALSO! If you'd like to learn about another character who helps them out with certain things peripherally, grab another of my favorites, Beautifully Insightful. It's another intense romantic suspense!

As always, I'd love to know your thoughts if/when you read these delicious stories!

Jinx by Winter Travers

Winter Travers is such a great story teller!

Her series are binge-worthy because they read like a movie when read all together in order. I mean, I read them individually when they come out, and then I like to binge on a whole finished series. Highly recommend! ; )

My Review:

At the end of Jet, we see Maggie go thru something awful. My heart broke for her!

In Jinx, we get to see her path to healing begin, and their relationship grow. We also see more of her & Jemma's friendship.

I loved their story! Jinx has such a huge heart, and the care and love he shows to Maggie is wonderful. There's also more bad guy drama, but the club is turning around to be the hunters. And once again, the tease for the next book is Whoa!!

😍😍😍

Jaxon by C.E. Johnson

I fall in love with EVERYTHING C.E. Johnson writes.

I've binged her books and will reread them because they are amazing!

Her latest release, Jaxon, has been added to my list of favorites!

My Review:

Jaxon & Holly are another fantastic couple! I love their story! Sweet, suspenseful, and just the right amount of steam.

My favorite thing about this story is the interaction between characters. Whether it's our main couple, friends, family, or side characters, I get lost in these interactions. Each has their own unique cadence, and it makes me feel invested in them and what they have to say, what they contribute.

Jaxon's anxiety is written so very well - as are Holly and their circle's reactions. I feel the love, the care, they have for each other. They're all protective of one another, and that makes me want to be a part of their circle!

Excellent story, and the tease for Zayn's HEA is perfect!

😍😍😍😍

I'm pretty sure I have gushed about my love for this author far & wide, and if you've experienced her awesomeness, I'd love to know what you think!

Primal Wrath by Piper Davenport

Piper Davenport (and her husband, Jack) is one of my favorite MC authors!

Of course, she also wrote another of my favorite series, the Cauld Ane, which is not bikers but absolutely alpha dudes & kickass heroines! LOVE!!

I always buy these, but am also super fortunate to have gotten an ARC & fall in love a few days early.

My Review:

Wrath & Sierra's story is intense! They have a lot of back & forth & A LOT of 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Like, whew, bring a fan while you're reading! 😉

There are also some darker biker retribution things going on, but those scenes are fairly quick.

Story movement for the overall series is done well & we learn some new info. And the love between these two is definitely felt through out, even when they're fighting!

😍😍😍

Have you read this series?

It gets a little dark sometimes, and I have cried over a few different things, and I still LOOOVE it!

Levi by Brynne Asher

SQUEEE!!!

Happy Day 1 of Carriepalooza to me!

Levi by Brynne Asher is live & heating up kindles everywhere!

Have you picked up your copy? I highly recommend it!

: )

My Review:

While this story is absolutely a stand alone and can be enjoyed as such, I highly recommend reading Gifts first. Gifts is the story of Levi's dad, Asa, finding his own HEA. The Killers series is a top favorite of mine. 😁

Now, on to this story! It's full of humor and intrigue, friendship and family, choices and above all love. Carissa & Levi have an instant connection that builds quite steadily throughout their story. The love & support they give each other as life gets a bit intense is so well written, too!

I also love the supporting characters - the Homies, Cade, Mason, Jack - as they give the story a large dose of humor and even more intrigue. There's also Louise, who we come to love so very much! And the mysteries that unfold... whew!

There's so much I want to say, but anything more feels spoilery and I'd much rather you discover it all yourselves. Definitely, definitely discover this story and these characters. Fall in love!!

😍😍😍

Let me know if you're a BA fan - and what's your favorite?!

My very first Brynne book was Athica Lane, so it always holds a special place in my heart, but I also love love love Asa & the gang in Gifts, and then of course there's Until the Tequila and Blackburn...

Anywhoodle - get your groove on!

Nobody Cares Unless You're Pretty by Lani Lynn Vale

It's time for a new LLV!

Are you excited?

I'm excited!

: )

My Review:

Love love love Wake & Dutch!! Such an interesting premise, and done really well. Essentially taking two anti-heroes and making believable heroes out of them. Love. It.

Also an excellent introduction to the new series. The way the MC comes into being is hilarious... 😁 Some characters we met in NTTL, specifically Wake & Davis, so it's awesome they're getting their own. Wake is an involved father, even from prison, and Lolo is cool.

Loved the relationship between Dutch & Wake - including the unusual way they meet! There's steam & fun banter & falling in love in unconventional ways...

Thumbs way up for this story!!

😍😍😍

I'm looking forward to this series - the covers are fresh & interesting (and colorful!), and so far I like all the characters in the MC... *grin*

A Wild Heart by Amie Knight

 Happy Weekend, my peeps!

I hope you're having a great one!

And I highly recommend this new release if you're looking for an emotional, sweet, HEA!

I LOVED this story!

My Review:

Holy wow, Weston & Emily!! Wow. Wow. Wow!

So, I was prepared for emotional with this story. Emily is a widow and a single mom. Weston is a widower. You will need tissues.

Every single tear is WORTH IT.

I love this story so, so much! I did want to Gibbs-smack Emily more than once... Also SUPER happy to have so much Holden & Miranda in the story - Miranda is one of my favorite characters ever, so to get to see her forming a friendship with Emily was fabulous! I also wanted to Gibbs-smack Holden a couple times, tho... 🤣

Then we have Parker. Emily's daughter is awesome & I love her part of the story!!

This is a story of healing & hope. Weston is grumpy, but his heart is OMH MAGNIFICENT! Emily is also grumpy. LOL Her wild heart gives the story its name, tho, and her strength and bravery when she follows that heart... beautiful.

Amazing read, and I highly recommend it!!

😍😍😍😍😍

Fractured Sky by Catherine Cowles

 This story is BEAUTIFUL!

It is healing.

It is cathartic.

It is the perfect ending to this series - and is a favorite of 2022!

My Review:

This is everything it should be! Everly and Shiloh became forever attached by their experience when they were young. This series begins with Everly & Hayes finding their HEA. It ends with Shiloh finding hers.

We get bits & pieces of Shiloh's story throughout each book, and we meet Ramsey later in the series.

In Fractured Sky, Shiloh and Ramsey are uniquely created to save each other, to be the perfect partners in life because of the tragedies in their childhoods. Ramsey keeps himself locked away on his ranch, allowing very few ppl into his space. We see him forced to open up a bit in Boden & Laiken's book, and I was hoping he would get his own HEA. Seeing him with Shiloh... I was so glad they were together!!

I love the way these two interact, the way they stand up for each other, their protective feelings & actions. And the horses!! The way they have patience to guide these abused animals to healing - and the parallels to their own healing - it's beautiful! Lots of emotion in this story!

I love Aiden & Elliott, Kai, Onyx, the family they build, the healing with Shiloh & her family... again, emotional and beautiful!!

Happy sigh.

(Also, there are some really well done suspense elements, and of course some heat!)

😍😍😍😍😍

Monster in the Moonlight by Jamie Schlosser

Jamie Schlosser is AMAZING!

She has a multitude of titles, ranging from New Adult to Rom-Com to Fae.

Her latest release is book 1 in a duet separate from but connected to her Fae series.

And it is AWESOME!

My Review:

Oh my goodness!! Ellister is definitely on the darker side. He's lived thousands of years without a soul, without a conscience, and that can definitely weigh on a Fae! A trick, a spell, brings back his conscience but not his soul. Still, from the second he comes into contact with Hannah... something begins to shift, and we see glimpses of his heart before...

This is a tough read bc of what Hannah is going thru. My heart broke! It will be mended... but not until the second part comes out! Thankfully, that's releasing fairly quickly! 😉

I loved the story, even with the 💔. These characters are rich, emotional gold!

Never Trust the Living by Lani Lynn Vale

This is the last book & the series & boy was it worth the wait!

Bram & Dory are sweet once they are together-together. ; )

My Review:

Ok. Bram & Dory have been the mysterious couple teased throughout the Battle Crows series. The way everyone treated her until Gracelynn in the last book made it seem like she was a raging jerk. As we found out, THEY were the AHs.

I love Dory & Bram, & am super happy they got their HEA - and that it included the Crows I've fallen in love with making amends. I love the relationships Dory & 2 of the brothers in particular build, too! I did NOT love all the crap thrown her / their way to get there, but she at least didn't have to go through what Gracelynn did, which was a relief. Somewhat. 😂 And it was a good dose of suspense there.

Anyway, excellent end cap to this series, and I'm happy the family came together and Bram got his head straight, to give Dory the love & family she deserved!!

😍😍😍

I didn't connect with all of the stories, but I did connect with this family & the saga as a whole. I love the Crow family's closeness and banter, and am happy that they all got their HEAs, even if some of them were quite the struggle.
