 Happy New Release to new-to-me author, Sonia Stanizzo! 

This was a fun read & I love the characters! 

My Review:

Jade & Nate's story is a fun romp! I loved their meet-cute, well, both of them! The story came together nicely, characters were hilarious, and there were plenty of steamy times! 

There were a couple bits that annoyed me & I felt went on longer within the story than necessary, but overall I really enjoyed it. And I LOVE Nate & Jade together. Their hearts & banter made for lots of smiles while reading! 

Oh, also, Dorito!!! 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Indescribable by Jennifer VanWyk

 Hello, party peeps! 

I thought I posted this last week, but Blogger says nope. So, you've had a few days to discover this gem on your own. Have you read Jennifer Van Wyk? I fell in love w/ her writing, discovered she's an Iowa girl AND that she knows a family I grew up with *cue small world music*!! 

Her latest release is sweet & has all the swoon & forehead kisses - I LOVE FOREHEAD KISSES! 

My Review: 

Love love love Naomi & Brock!! Their story starts out a little rough, what with Naomi walking down the aisle to another man & all! But the pacing is actually perfect! 

Once she shakes off that whole thing, & Brock gets his head in the game, they rediscover their friendship and have such a sweet courtship! There's some drama & suspense, but not within their relationship, and I greatly enjoyed every aspect of the story! I'm also VERY happy this is a family series & we get more more more! 🎉🎊🎉🎊🎊🎉

Also, Cody is a riot, and I'm looking forward to more of his cameos in future books!!

Rattle Some Cages by Lani Lynn Vale

 

It's time for more Crow family! 

I feel like they maybe were set up to be villains way back when some of the characters were first introduced several series ago, but they really are a family with hearts of gold who - much like many if not all of LLV's characters - are willing to get their hands dirty if needed for the greater good and protection of those they love. 

My Review:

Price & Sabrina have a very emotional connection. A few, actually. He falls for her the moment he sees her, tho they won't actually meet until later. She falls for him & his protective & caring actions when they do meet. 

This story brings lots of tears, but also LOL scenes. And of course the 🔥!

Their relationship gets a little convoluted at times due to some family stuff, but I enjoyed their interactions & the way they protect each other. Price thinks he's not a good guy, but Sabrina knows he is. His heart is full of love for his family and for her, & he isn't shy about showing that love. He's an affectionate dude, & I love that about him!!

Falling Embers by Catherine Cowles

 Happy Release Day!

Today's feature is by another favorite author - I'm so blessed to get to devour these stories! I hope you'll check out this series if you haven't had a chance to yet! : ) 

My Review: 

Calder & Hadley!! OMH! 

These two have a very emotional story. Calder gave Hadley the support & friendship she needed at a very rough time in her life, and then life threw another curveball and their relationship was derailed. He really broke her heart, not in a romantic sense. 

The path to them healing their friendship and then being together and admitting their feelings had a few obstacles! But I love the way they are together, the way Calder supports & protects her when certain things happen... swoon!! 

Along with the romance, there are some very tough family dynamics going on. And Hadley seems to have a stalker... and it gets a little crazy up in there for a bit! But Hadley is a BA, & she - along with her fabulous brother & Calder - handles things so well!

Also! Birdie & Sage, Calder's daughter's, are sweet & fun & so fabulous!! 

Swoon, suspense, surprises - their story has it all! So we'll written!!

Blurred Lines by Jessica Prince

 Hello, my party peeps! 

It's time to go back to Redemption with Jessica's latest!! I love this series & this town, and was looking forward to Aurora's story - she's such a fun character! 

My Review:

Aurora & Callum!!! From the minute we met Aurora I wanted her to have her own HEA, & here it is!! I felt the same about Callum, and having them get together is just absolutely perfect!!

I love them together. Their story has swoony & amusing moments, which are of course my favorite. My only issue is with the amount of page time they're not together. The angst & back & forth was just a bit too much for me. Of course, it was a bit too much for Aurora, too, & I loved how she stood up for herself & her tender heart. I ALSO love how she stands up for Callum to his (well-meaning) family! 🥰🥰

Oh, and I enjoyed all the interaction with Lark, Clay, Willow, & Stone, even tho he wasn't around a lot. LOL

Overall, much love to this story!!
