This was a very emotional & deep story, with lots of teary moments for me. There were also quite a few LOL moments for me, and swoony moments. I feel like it's a well-rounded story! 

My Review:

First of all, there is a trigger warning at the beginning of this book. Heed it. It gets intense.

It is definitely WORTH the intensity, and if you can, I highly recommend pushing thru any wariness of that warning to give this a chance. Eric & Julia both have some heavy things going on in life. Julia goes all in with her heart, even tho it keeps getting stabbed. Eric has shut off a lot of his emotions while trying to push thru what he thinks he HAS to do. His only joy is hockey - and pretending to fight with his pet ferret. (He says Lucifer isn't his, but...)

Oh, and the revolving puck...! Trust me, that whole thing is hilarious every time!!!

As noted, Eric & Julia's story is intense, and I just want to hug them! It's also a beautiful story about healing and forgiveness and trust. I enjoyed it!! And the extended epilogue is fantastic!

My Review for Unspoken Words (book 1):

This story was a wonderful friends to lovers installment! Cami & Jamie's affection for each other leaps off the page. There is a tragedy in this story, and it was written so well, so thoroughly. That part of the story ripped out my heart. But it was written SO WELL! I know, I said that already. The level of emotion thru the whole story was just top notch, and while some of the back & forth annoyed me (a couple of moments had me yelling, "Seriously, how can you not KNOW at this point?!), I still enjoyed the story a lot!! Looking forward to reading Linc & Morgan's story. : )

Get Tragic by Lani Lynn Vale

If you follow my reviews (thank you!), you know I wasn't a fan of the last book in this series. I couldn't connect with the main characters, unfortunately. Happily, that is not a normal thing for me with this author, and THIS installment, I thoroughly enjoyed! : ) 

My Review:

Well, I enjoyed Banger & Easton's story a lot! There are some bits that don't exactly make a lot of sense as far as story flow, but I still connected with both main characters & found the back & forth between Banger & Trouper hilarious! 

I love Easton, and am super happy he got his HEA! I was a little wary of Banger, but ended up loving her, too. She's got a wicked sense of humor I highly enjoyed! And her attitude toward some of the things happening with the suspense portion of the story made me want to high five her. 😁

Oh, AND!! I love her pet! 

So, this one gets a thumbs up!!

I was so glad that this story came about, too. I've been intrigued by Easton for quite some time now, and getting to know him better & see him get his HEA with Banger (I still don't like her name, tho, sorry!) made me happy!

Tight Ends & Tiaras by Lex Martin

 Happy New Release to Lex! 

I absolutely adored the first book in this series, The Varsity Dad Dilemma, and was looking forward to Ben & Sienna's story. It did not disappoint! Just as much humor & sweetness, spice & heart! 

My Review:

Sienna & Ben are a delight! They both have some tough emotional things to go thru, but they help each other a lot as they become friends and then more.

I adore the ways they communicate! They're, for the most part, very open & honest in their conversations. There aren't any drawn out SOBs, and everything that happens make sense in the story and for the characters' personalities. 

Lily is adorable & seeing how she wraps everyone around her finger is cute! I also love Olly & Johnny & the comic relief they generously provide. 😉 The family dynamics are interesting, and I'm happy with the way things were presented there.

Loved this story lots!!
