Making the Match by Kristen Ashley

 I love this series SO MUCH!! 

It has pulled me in and made me fall in love with this family - they're extended and blended and it's really a very neat dynamic, with parents finding love again as well as adult children. As each new couple gets together, the "new" member is embraced into the fold. 

In Tom & Mika's story, there are some bumps with the folding, and we all may want to smack a few ppl a coupla times to get their heads outta their butts, but it works out, and the depth of the story feels ... REAL. And hopeful. And I just LOVE IT! : ) 

My Review:

I had no idea when I started this series that I would fall in love with Tom. He cheated. In romance, that is a hard no for me. However, as the series continued and we got to know him, I began to root for him to have his own HEA. Not with Imogen - obviously that relationship was over bc she was able to reconnect with Bowie. 

Learning about Mika, their history, their connection that existed and the way it did, gave me super happy vibes! She is an awesome character and I am happy that Tom was her HEA as she was his.

Also, as in Chasing Serenity, my love for Corey keeps growing. I thought him a villain, only to learn he may have done some villainous things, but his heart was so full of love - I miss him. I'm sorry he's not there to see the fruits of his efforts... and I'm hopeful Rhys is going to get an HEA with the woman I sense he's in love with, and that Corey orchestrated that somehow, too. ❤️

Tom & Mika's installment is full of love, forgiveness, family... I love the way this series continues to give multiple POVs in addition to the main characters. The feeling is of an epic story, not just interconnected books, but a saga worthy of Dynasty - or, more recently, Yellowstone. (I've never seen Yellowstone, so my comparison is strictly surface and nothing specific.)

I'm looking forward to more from this family, and am excited to read what's next!
