 Happy Leap Year!

Today I have a new release from a favorite author I stumbled upon last year. 

Her stories are romantic suspense, small town, entertaining reads. And her latest, Fearless, is the conclusion to her Quattro Security series. Loved it!

My Review

Alec & Quin's story starts off giving us the inside look at their 🔥🔥🔥. It takes them a little bit to figure out that wasn't just a one-time thing, but once they're together, they're TOGETHER.

I love Quin's sass & the way Alec pushes her buttons sometimes bc he loves it, too. And Quin doesn't lose that sass when she finally trusts him with all her secrets, but it changes from a protection-mode sass to just Quinny. 😁

I also love getting to go thru part of the pregnancy with these two. Alec's nicknames for the baby are adorable!!

There's suspense & more 🔥, lots of great family & friend bonding, tears - a tough subject is a main part of the story, & it's written beautifully. We also get a preview of the next series & I'm suuuuper excited that this character gets their own HEA!! 💚

Killing Booth by Lani Lynn Vale

 Ohhh, guys!

This one is a tear jerker & very emotional.

Don't worry, tho - it still has the classic LLV steam & humor & good vibes. You'll just need more tissues than normal, potentially. 

My Review

Zip & Nash's story is emotional & fiercely about love. There's steam and shenanigans, crazy family stuff... but mostly it's a story about how strong love really needs to be sometimes. It's about strength and vulnerability, family bonds, and how sometimes you have to face your loved one's fears for them when they just can't.

Turn of the Tides by Jessica Prince

 Happy new release!

This is the third book in Jessica's Whitecap series, & it's an enjoyable read!

Very emotional & I was rooting for these two from the beginning. 💙

My Review:

Beau & Presley - my heart broke for them lots. Their story is a second chance, that shouldn't have needed a second chance bc they could've been together all this time. Stupid interference by ... well, you'll just have to read, won't ya? 😉

I adored both Beau & Presley, and I liked the way we got to see what was going on with Beau in the past. I wished there was a little more of them being together after they got together! But that's bc they're written so well, and isn't really a complaint. Lol This story was also coming in hot with the 🔥🔥🔥. They have the chemistry down!

There were a couple scenes I loved lots that I can't say anything about bc spoilers! But I think everyone will be cheering when they see those scenes!

The ending is also done sooo well! And the tease for the next book - oooh!! Intrigued!

Broken by Layla Frost

 I absolutely love this series!

Styx (book 1) sucked me into this urban fantasy & I fell in love with the whole concept. It's amazing & beautifully written. 

Book 3 is out today, and this isn't a standalone - you definitely need to start with Styx & Stoned so you'll appreciate the banter, relationships, & overall storyline here.

My Review:

First of all, this is not a stand alone. Please read Styx & Stoned first so you can appreciate all the emotion, friendship, banter, battles, & awesomeness of this series.

Now, Lennon & Lilith!!!

This story was super hard for me at some points bc of part of the storyline hitting very close to a personal situation. It's written beautifully & my eyes leaked a lot.

During other parts of the story, the LOL moments were on point! Juno is hilarious, Levi is devil's food delicious, & Nate makes me smile often. Stellan & Denny also get high fives. 😉

I adore the connection between Lennon & Lilith. From their first first meeting to their adult meet cute, the sparks are delightful! I enjoyed the way they communicate & how Lilith leans on him but also stands up to him. And Lennon has this shell with everyone else that was fun to watch melt as he & Lilith get closer!

(Sidebar: could we get more Finn & Hannah?)

The 🔥🔥🔥, humor, heart, & hope in this story are all perfectly woven together, & omh the overall storyline in the series & hint at the final book are STELLAR! Absolutely love this series so much!
